Merchants Trust Inc. is a U.S. Federal Contracting firm and NASA Vendor who is a distributor of high tech water purification systems for contaminated water from any freshwater source.
Designed for everyday use or emergency preparedness anywhere in the world or off.
- Fast Flow Nano Fiber Filters can purify water up to 300 times faster than standard Mechanical micron filters that rely solely on pressure with a small filter pore size and the nano filter will last up to 25 times longer before they need to be replaced.
- The removal of sub-micron contaminants is achieved by a process called Electroadhesion and Ion-exchange
- Filters are based on the mineral Pseudoboehimite, AIO (OH). Each gram of Alumina Fiber has a surface area greater than 500sq meters. The active fibers are 2nm in diameter and approximately 250nm in length
- The Crystal Structure of the mineral creates a natural electrokinetic potential of AI*** on the surface of the fiber. This is not like an electrostatic charge that can be dissipated by alcohol immersion.
- Change potential maintains integrity between 5.0-9.5 in polar liquids. The available hydroxyl group in each fiber will also exchange protons with many electropositive colloids to retain them through a form of ion-exchange.
- The Crystal Structure allows for an extremely high surface area and a large number of active sites for sub-micron contamination removal. The pore size of the media is engineered such that the change field covers the entire void of each and every pore.
- There are approximately 400 layers of pores in the thickness of the media that contamination pass through during filtration, creating a deadly path for contamination while leaving the nutrients in the water.
- Each nano fiber layer has Antimicrobial Silver and approximately 400 layers of charged fibers. Pore size is 1.25 microns. Cartridge pressure drop <0.1 ban.
- Nano Filter Certification : IAPMO Certified. Meets NSF/ANSI Standard 42- Drinking Water Treatment Units= Aesthetic Effects.(Class Particulate Reduction)
- NSF/ANSI Standard 53- Drinking Water Treatment Units-Health Effects (cyst reduction) NSF/ANSI Standard 61- Drinking Water System Components (municipal drinking water treatment)
